Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 30 days from the day you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last item in your order.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

Summary of Return Policy:
  • All return requests must be made within 30 days after the date of delivery and are at the customer’s expense.
  • The refund, store credit, or exchange will be processed within 14 business days from the date of the returned package, once we have determined that the return meets the mentioned conditions.
  • Refunds can only be processed back to the original payment method.

  • Product Condition: Returned products must be in their original condition: This means unused and unaltered, with all original packaging intact. If you ordered a wallpaper, feel free to unpack it to facilitate inspection of the product. However, please note that you are solely responsible for any decrease in the value of the items resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and functionality.
  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a traceable shipping method to ensure your return is received.
  • Damaged Goods: If the product is damaged due to external factors, such as improper handling by the customer, the return policy does not apply.
  • Full-Priced Products: Eligible for a refund, unless purchased with Klarna, Sezzle, or AfterPay. Orders placed with Klarna, Sezzle, or AfterPay are only eligible for store credit.
  • Sale Items: Any item purchased on sale or at a marked down price is final sale and not eligible for an exchange or return.
  • Promo Codes: Orders placed with a promo code that discounts the order are only eligible for store credit.

We’re sorry to hear that you need to return your item! Here’s how to start the process:

  • Initiate Return: Contact our customer service team at info@inartdecor.com to initiate a return. Provide your order number and reason for return.
  • Approval: Our team will review your request and provide a return authorization number along with instructions for returning the product. We will also send you the Model Withdrawal Form via email, but it is not obligatory to use it. Our return address is in Sofia, Bulgaria.
  • Shipping: Pack the item securely, include the return authorization number, and ship the package to the return address provided.
  • Refund or Exchange: Once we receive the returned product and verify it meets the return conditions, we will process your refund, store credit, or exchange within 14 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
  • Processing Time: Refunds and exchanges are processed within 14 business days after we receive the returned item.

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of the items and the original delivery charges to your address (except for any additional costs resulting from choosing a different delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery). Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method as the initial transaction unless otherwise agreed upon. Please note that while we refund the original delivery charges to your address, we do not cover the costs associated with returning the item to us. No fees will be charged for the refund.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

Please note, packages are subject to carrier delays. Various factors can influence delivery times, including distance to the destination, carrier delays (especially during peak holiday seasons), weather conditions, natural events, and customs clearance processes for international shipments.

Your order will be processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days from the time we receive your payment. Please note that for custom made photomurals, the processing and dispatch time is extended to 1-2 weeks to accommodate the production process.

Delivery times vary based on your location and the shipping method chosen. For most European destinations, delivery typically occurs within 2-5 business days after dispatch.

Please note that delivery times can be influenced by various factors, including distance to the destination, carrier delays (especially during peak holiday seasons), weather conditions, natural events, and customs clearance processes for international shipments.

Ordering & Discounts

We begin processing your order immediately after it’s placed. Therefore, we are unable to make any changes once the order is submitted. This includes cancellations, changes to shipping or billing addresses, shipping methods, inserting promo codes, or removing/adding/altering items in your order.

Due to production constraints, we only offer the option to purchase entire designs.

Yes, we do. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an invoice for your purchase. You will receive an automatic email confirmation of the shipment, which will include a PDF invoice for your records.

While making a purchase, you will find an option in the shipping address section labeled “I need an invoice with company data.” Please select this option and enter the necessary information accordingly.

Input your discount code in the basket area during checkout. You’ll find the option to apply a discount code under the order summary. Click the “Apply” link to reveal the field where you can enter your code. We’re excited to offer custom photomurals on high-quality non-woven material crafted from your own photos or designs. The digital printing process also supports the printing of small runs and one-offs, which is why we are very flexible in this regard. Simply submit the digital files of your desired image, and our team will generate initial drafts of your custom design for your review and approval. Once approved, we’ll proceed to print your individual photomural on high-quality non-woven material.

To ensure the best print outcome, we recommend providing image material with a resolution of at least 300 DPI. Our dedicated customer service team will collaborate closely with our graphics experts to create a preview of your designs, which will be shared with you for final approval.

Wall Mural & Wallpaper Installation Instructions

Before applying the mural, ensure that the wall surface is thoroughly clean, smooth, and free from any oily residue. Sand down any oil paints, remove all traces of previous wallpaper, and ensure the surface is smooth. Fill in any holes or cracks present on the wall. It’s essential that the wall is absorbent to ensure optimal adhesion of the paste.

To hang wallpaper, you’ll need the following tools and materials:

  • Wallpaper Paste or Adhesive: Depending on the type of wallpaper, you may need paste for the paste the paper method, adhesive for the paste the wall method, or water for ready-pasted wallpaper.
  • Glue Brush or Roller: Used to evenly apply the paste or adhesive onto the wallpaper or wall.
  • Sharp Knife or Wallpaper Trimmer: Used to cut the wallpaper to size and trim excess.
  • Clean Cloth: Used to wipe away excess paste or adhesive.
  • Glue Mixing Vessel: Used to mix paste or adhesive if necessary.
  • Water Level: Ensures that the wallpaper is hung straight and aligned properly.
  • Plumb Line: Helps to establish vertical guidelines for precise hanging.
  • Sponge: Used to activate the paste on ready-pasted wallpaper by soaking.

Our murals can be applied using commercially available wallpaper paste. Some murals come with paste included in the delivery package. For example, we may recommend using Metylan Direct glue by Henkel for non-woven wallpapers.

  • Ensure all surfaces are smooth, dry, clean, and free from dust and grease.
Step-by-step instructions:
  • Pre-Check: Lay out the wallpaper before application and inspect for any defects, as we do not offer compensation once the mural is applied.
  • Positioning: Use a pencil, level, and plumbline to draw vertical lines on the wall to mark the position of the first panel.
  • Applying Glue: Evenly apply commercial glue for non-woven wallcoverings directly to the wall surface.
  • Hanging the Mural: Hang the wallcovering without overlap or soaking time. Press each panel onto the wall using a soft brush, roller, or dry cloth. Work from top to bottom and from the center to the edges.
  • Drying: Ensure the drying period is sufficiently long to prevent the edges from separating and the mural from cracking. Maintain a room temperature of approximately 20°C. In winter, moderately heat the room and keep windows closed to avoid drafts.
  • Finishing: Carefully trim any excess. Immediately remove any excess paste from the wallpaper using a moist sponge.

  • Ensure the wall is primed similarly to how it would be before hanging wallpaper: the surface must be clean, smooth, and free from grease. Sand off any oil-based paint, and fill in holes and cracks. The surface should be able to absorb moisture for optimal drying.

  • Applying Paste: Use a commercial standard wallpaper paste and follow the specific usage instructions.
  • Drawing Guidelines: As walls are often not perfect right angles, start from the center of the wall. Draw horizontal and vertical guidelines using a pencil, water level, and plumbline.
  • Pasting the Sheets: Apply the paste evenly to each sheet, taking extra care with the edges. Allow the paste to soak for the recommended time. Do not stack pasted sheets on top of each other.
  • Hanging the Mural: Position the first sheet along the guideline and press it onto the wall, smoothing from top to bottom to remove air bubbles. Continue with the remaining sheets, overlapping them slightly if required by the design, typically by 2-3 mm.
  • Drying: Allow the mural to dry slowly to prevent shrinkage gaps or rips. Maintain a room temperature of 18-20°C and avoid drafts (keep windows closed and use moderate heating in winter).
  • Trimming the Edges: After the mural has dried, carefully trim the excess edges with a carpet knife.
Important Information:
  • We strive to deliver a top-quality product. Due to technical limitations, small color variations may occur. Before applying paste, lay out the sheets and check for color consistency. If there is a valid reason for a complaint, please return the sheets before pasting, as we are not liable for costs incurred after application.

Due to technical production reasons, paper photomurals require an overlap when applied. We recommend placing the lower sheet to overlap the upper sheet slightly, ensuring that the edge is barely visible after pasting. However, digitally printed murals made from non-woven material can be applied flush without any overlaps.

We recommend against applying wallpaper or wall murals on rough textured walls due to potential visibility of the texture underneath and adhesion issues. For best results, apply only to smooth, clean, and dry walls.

Wallpaper may not adhere well to tiles due to water and humidity exposure, which can cause deterioration and detachment. Our wallpapers and wall murals are recommended for environments with low to medium humidity levels, such as living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and offices.

Once you’ve affixed the sheet to the wall, meticulously smooth it down from top to bottom, guiding any air bubbles from the center to the edges. If minor air bubbles persist even after the mural has been hung, use a thin needle to gently prick them, allowing the trapped air to escape.

To ensure that all parts of the paper mural fit together properly, it is crucial to allow the paste to soak into each sheet for 3 minutes before applying it to the wall. This soaking time allows the paper to expand to its full size.

If you do not follow this rule, and apply a sheet to the wall before it has fully expanded, it will be smaller than the other sheets. This discrepancy can cause the mural parts to not fit together correctly, disrupting the overall design. Additionally, the sheet may continue to expand on the wall, leading to rips or bubbles.

Similarly, when you hold a dry, unpasted sheet against the already pasted and applied sheets for inspection, it will not align correctly. The dry sheet has not expanded yet, and it will only reach its full size after the paste has been applied and allowed to soak.

Wallpaper glue typically dries within 24 hours, but in conditions of high humidity or low temperature, it may take up to 72 hours to fully dry. To ensure optimal results, maintain a room temperature between 64°F and 77°F during the drying process.

Primarily designed for indoor use, our wallpapers should avoid constant exposure to moisture or wet conditions. However, under specific conditions, the murals can be hung outdoors or in wet rooms if the area is adequately shielded from weather elements or moisture. In such instances, it’s crucial to apply a protective coating on the mural after pasting. Please note that we cannot provide warranty coverage for this scenario.

For optimal results, it’s recommended to remove any existing wall murals or wallpapers before painting. If removal is difficult, a wallpaper stripping solution can assist. Afterward, clean and prime the wall thoroughly.

To dispose of mural paste, clean any soiled brushes or stirrers under warm running water. As for the paste itself, it can be easily disposed of as household or construction waste.

While removing the mural from the wall is straightforward, it cannot be reused, regardless of the duration it has been in place.

  • Non-woven wallpaper removal is particularly simple – just dampen the mural with a wet sponge and peel off one panel at a time.
  • For paper photomurals, a bit more water is required to dissolve the paste before removal. However, this may result in some paper residue remaining.

Our company does not provide installation services, and costs can fluctuate based on location. Professional installation prices may vary.

We primarily focus on online sales globally and do not offer installation services. However, our wallpapers and wall murals are designed for straightforward DIY installation. You can find comprehensive guides and tips on our website and blog. On average, it takes about 2 hours to install 10-15 m² of wallpaper.

Canvas Print & Poster Hanging Guidelines

Achieve the most striking effect by centering pictures on the wall, slightly narrower than the furniture beneath. For optimal visual harmony, position canvas paintings 8-12 inches above furniture or at eye level.

When hanging paintings, opt for hooks and nails, spacing them approximately every 40 cm of the painting’s width for secure mounting.

Skip drilling by opting for Velcro or hanging tapes, such as those from Command or Tesa. Ensure to check the weight limit specified on the packaging and the manufacturer’s site.

Our canvas paintings are ready to hang without an external frame, as they are stretched on a wooden subframe. However, if desired, additional external frames can be easily found in the market for framing.

Framed or passe-partout posters come equipped with hooks on the back for easy hanging. Secure them to the wall using a few nails.

Easily hang our posters by placing them in a chosen frame or passe-partout. Alternatively, for a non-invasive method, explore options like self-adhesive Velcro or hooks from brands like Tesa.

Begin with the central piece when hanging multi-part images, ensuring a 2 cm gap between sections for a unified appearance. Sketching the arrangement on paper beforehand can streamline the process.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Yes, though it’s best done in moderation. Non-woven wallpaper can handle light moisture and gentle scrubbing without issue. However, it’s advisable to avoid prolonged soaking.

Should you need to remove paste residues or tackle minor stains later on, proceed with caution. Simply dampen a sponge or cloth (avoid excess moisture!) and delicately dab at the affected area. Use only lukewarm water without detergent.

For cleaning, employ a soft, clean cloth lightly dampened with water. Avoid using detergents to prevent potential damage to the canvas.

Taxes & Duties

Depending on your location, additional customs or import duties may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Please check with your local customs office for more information.

Please be aware that taxes and duties may be imposed by your local government on all international packages. The amount of these charges is determined at the discretion of your local authorities. We are legally obligated to declare the full retail value of the purchased products on the customs documents generated by our shipping system.
